practice makes perfect
ehhh, not too hard, best on low urban style rails, the lower the better, like a foot off the ground is perfect but you can do em on anything, boxes are harder cause you slide off and I would not suggest doing them on a 'nuttable' rail.
I do normal 270 ons, spinning to the left.
But for urban 270 ons, I spin to the right. Idk why.
The trick is to approach the rail on the side and get a good pop. Unlike on a jump, wind up your spin really excessively because you will need the momentum. You should be unwinding before you leave the jump, so you are facing foward as you pop. Jump up look down for the rail as you spin a 180 as if you were gunna have one leg on either side of the rail. This will keep you centered.
the last 90 of my 270 is done by my feet only. As I land on the rail my upper body is facing uphill, looking at the rail. This is super helpful because it makes it so easy to pretzle out but if I wanted to I could just bring my body around to come off normally.
Good luck, and make sure you get your tips over
