The white/gold ones? No. The tag/specs says they are supposed to have some new special toe box cushion, but there is nothing in the boots or liner.

As far as the leather goes, I thought it was the dumbest shit ever. I got the white SPK Pros midway through this season, and was planning on maybe just cutting it off. After skiing with them, I felt that the leather really kept my feet warmer. I think it may cover up the cracks/seams in the boot where heat can escape, and keep your foot much warmer. I like it a lot. Leather=FTW.

went and tried these on yesterday. despite the ridiculous amount of leather, they seem really dope--super comfortable, incredibly light.... the only thing i thought was weird was the flex: supposedly its a 110, but it almost felt as soft as a snowboard boot.
