Hey I'm after a flexy ski but have heard rave reviews on both the skis and I am trying to narrow it down to one, I wanna do some park and some all mountain, and will want a length in the 170's. What do you reckon?

cant speak for the ar6 but i have the 08 STL's and love them as a PARK ONLY ski. That being said, you might be let down as an all mountain ski.

yeah the AR6s are really great all mountain but they aren't super soft if you wanted a softer ski the THalls might be better though what you gain in softness and park performance you lose slightly all mountain but armadas are great in my experience just don't tweak out when the topsheets get torn up around the edges

From what you said I would agree with Summersover. The THalls might be too soft for what your looking for in a ski. You mentioned you were looking for some all mountain riding out of that skis so I would stick with the AR6. Bombproof ski with a great fell in the park and out.

I have the 08 AR6s with Marker Griffons and they are the shit. I have them center mounted and they still rip in the pow and on groomers. Not the most flexible ski but the best all-around that I have ever had.

Thanks guys, looks like Armada wins, I picked up a pair of 09's Ar6's today, i'm putting on rossi sas2 140's, i'm prob going to mount them 2-2.5cm from core for the ability of all mountain without too much lost for park.
