Guitair hero world tour

i just got it and i dont find it as good as i expected. the drum beats suck its always the same beat for every song and its not sponsored by gibson anymore so the guitars are ugly. what do you think?

i actually like the new playlist it has several songs i like and that are good in general. i know the guitar parts arnt as good as the older ones but that is because you have to have all parts of the band so they had to make a few sacrifices. as for how the guitars look does it really matter, honestly and it doenst look that bad. i also like how they added the touchstrip to the neck of the guitar. its really fun to play with a group of friends geting everyone involved

the make your own song thing is gay as fuck. all the top rated songs sound like fucking garbage and give me a headache. i will not be buying another GH. i'm going to buy an PS2 and mod it so i can put on whatever songs i want.

yeah, the playlist is pretty lacking. I only enjoy playing 5-10 songs, the rest aren't great. TOOL ftw

from a casual player that doesn't own either.  Playlists suck and yeah the drum beats were the fuckin same and boring.  half the time the guitar (on hard) didn't seem to go with the music.  I like the setup though.. Two symbols and the three drums + foot is perfect.

your playing rock so there just going to be songs in four with simple beats, it is a game with rock songs, not jazz, funk or african songs you should expect that if you looked at the set list. i dont like what they have done to GH

a lot of the GH world tour songs are the same as rock band 2, i much prefer rock band, if you get sick of rock band 2 songs then buy rock band 1

i think they wanted the drum beats to be as realistic as possible, which they are when you're playing on expert. If you're playing at lets say medium, it's the same beat through the whole song, because making it like it actually is in the song makes it really hard to play.
