Alpha 1 or moment reno jib

i am 5'9 160 and like a fairly flexible ski. I seem to like the idea of these two skis. Any opinions?

i dont know anything about the alpha 1's but the reno jibs are deffinatly not a soft ski, there poppy, but not soft

besides the rocker the alpha ones are stiff skis to be honest

also stiff...If you want a softer ski, that isn't like a noodle, ar6s are good, so are Dumont's, and Suspects, then if you want a soft ski, anthems and invaders is were it is at....

But, I really want to hear from some people who have ridden alpha 1s, they look soooo dope, but I don't know how they ski with the rocker and such....

Jibs are much snappier than the walls, but maybe a touch softer.  Much livelier feeling where the walls are a little more damp and dead feeling.

I have both of these skis and i can tell you that neither of them are soft. They actually have a fairly similar flex to them. The rocker on the alpha is very small and really does very little for the performance of the ski. It helps it relase turns easy and makes it hard to hook the tip on lips... but in general.. riding you really dont even notice that its there. The alpha is fast as hell with that race base, and it holds an awesome edge. It has the lowest swing weight of any ski that I have ever been on.

The Reno is amazing. I love it to death. It is my favorite ski that I have ever owned. Great on rails. Great on jumps. Great on groomers. Good in bumps. good in soft snow. Rides switch better than anything. light, snappy, poppy, low swing weight. Bomb proof... cannot say enough good about that ski.

PM if you have any more questions. I also have a few pairs of Reno Jibs left in my store that I would do deals on... and one pair of the 170 alphas left too...
