Loudest earbuds

I want some really loud ears buds for my ipod for skiing, I have these massive headphones that are wicked loud, does anyone suggest any loud brands that I should buy, that could fit under neath a helmet/ hat

They short out pretty soon. Usually one earbud will break and the other will work for a little while.

I've gone through alot of them. The ipod ones are the best

99.9% of the head phones out there are going to be loud enough. I am pretty sure if you turned most of them up all the way your ears will start to bleed.

Maybe you want something that blocks some sound out around you? Well then go with a pair of the FMJ or Ink'd. Honestly they are all similar. I know a prick is going to come on here and say nah nah nah don't fall into the crappy headphone genre and suggest you buy a 400 dollar pair of sennheisers.

But get a pair that fits and I am sure you'll be fine. If I turn my sony's or hesh's up on the way I would probably start crying and the lack of hearing for the next couple of days would chap my ass.

though the last pair of earbuds i had outdid them and i can't remember what brand the were :(

yo man get the smokin buds by skullcandy, they might brake easy but skullcandy has the best customer service and will get you new ones if its a defect. the bass hits so hard and blocks out tons of sound and work great on plain flights.

I have these $10 from sony that come with these different sized bud things to go in your ear. They are pretty loud and reduce the sound around you a good bit. Personally, I would rather have something that didnt reduce sound so i could hear people better.

people are gonna start losing their hearing if they turn them up too loud too much.

I have some sennhiesr cx55s which are pretty much awesome for everyday listening, there loud enough that you dont want it on exactly full volume unless its mega loud, they drown out a lot of sound but still dont completely block out outside noise so im guessing they would be pretty good for what your looking for, there reasonably priced and you can pick em up in a lot of places.

If you want them for music listening i suggest getting a higher end pair made by shure, etyomic or super.fi or something. I had a pair of shure e2cs and even though they are there basic model they were really good but I wouldnt want to block out 100% of outside noise whilst I ski its a bit disorientating. Also they have a 2 year warranty on them.

why do you need ear phones that loud? just find some that fit so you can fully utilize the sound they give.

Get some bose in ears.  I got some for christmas from my sister and they're amazzzzing.  You can get them on ebay for around 60 bucks too!

i pod earbuds are good for helmets because they dont pop out of your ear as much as skullcandys do so i just post up with i pod buds.

I mainly use them to zone out people talking, but  I want them to be loud enough to silence the snow maker guns, I have had 3 pairs of ipods, 1 pair of the cheapest skullcandies on the market( otm? that sounds good), and 1 pair of sony's, all of them broke, the ipods wire fucked up, i lost those rubber things for skull candies so they hurt my ear and the sonys just died

the v-moda vibes come with a cloth wire, so like unlike normal rubber ones, they dont tangle up and get all torn up, mine looks like its brand new, and its atleast 6 months old. and i wrap it around my ipod all the time and throw them in my pocket too

That happens to me with every single set of earbuds I get.  One blows out and the other is good.

The iPod ones are pretty good, but I like Skullcandy ones a little better.
