Paypal + Debit Card Question

I have my paypal setup with my debit card. My question is does paypal charge the debit card like a credit card so i get a statement and junk or does it automatically subtract the payment like a normal in-store purchase? thanks for helping a paypal noob.

by "debit card" I assume you mean the bank account option of paypal. 

Yes it just takes it from your bank account and will show up in those transactions at your bank as a withdrawal.  It does take a few days to clear though before the person you send the money to has access to it.

no i am not using the bank account thing. i put my debit card in as credit.

no you can have it linked to your debit card but the second you get money into your account you then open up a balance and you have to link your bank account
if you haven't received money yet it's a direct link from your debit card and it should show up the same as a store transaction from my experience

yea i just bought stuff from the NS Store and i received it so i was just wondering. thanks for the help
