Replying to 4FRNT East Coast Review
Good Evening to all you East Coast skiers. Over the past months there has been multiple posts asking for reviews of the 4FRNT MSP, so I thought I would help a brother out.

Ratings:
Hard Pack- (1-5, 5=Off the hook)
Quickness: 2.5
Stability: 4.5
Feel: 3.75
Overall Impression: 3.5
First runs ruled on the MSP. Cord was nice and firm with some ice under the top inch plus. Skis tracked incredible in long/straigth line turns. The ski handles all the speed I could give it, (even fakie) Even in medium radius turns with a little forward pressure the ski carved well. Short turns we another story with the ski wanting to wash out. As the conditions got skied off the MSP was a little timid on the glare ice, but not a scary ride..... it is all about angle.
Soft/Crud-
Quickness: 3
Stability: 4
Feel: 4
Overall Impression: 4
The ski reacted well in the chop especially the non-bumped out sections. The softer tip of the MSP seemed to help the ski track in a 'Drunken Boxer' style, swirving and weaving without lose of control or feel.
Pipe/Park/Air: Not available at this time (I will update on a later date, NO PARK @ Cannon as of 12/19/03).... Note: Off a few rolls going 40MPH, I mached a few straight grabs and the ski had a nice feel in the air. I also rode this fakie for a few section going mach 5 and it rocked! AN AWESOME PLATFORM FOR FAKIE FLATLAND!
Overall Review and Rec:
The ski was HOT! As an East Coast ski it is not your 'everydayer' but if you ski a ton of wide groomers with no 'Joeys' and like to hit the park this is a good second ski along with a nice mid-fat (70-80mm waist) for the East Coast. It is also great for those powder/crud days. I think it will also rock for spring skiing corn piles.
Hope this was helpful!
