Why Reasons sucked

More of a suggestion for the future:

An entire movie narrated by Evan Raps, the man behind the Milk Chocolate.

Otherwise, I liked it. Very different from the "norm" PBP, unlike what other movies did this year. Your broke the norm. Sick. Next time bring the Raps in.

I liked Reasons A LOT.... but Claim wasnt what I thought it would be.

One of my favorite segments was the bluebird days with Mark Abma and Mike Douglas. Skiing was soooo sick and the song was perfect for it.

I liked Reasons a lot, my only issue was a little too much black and white for my taste.

 If the Hunting Yeti webisodes were just sewn together for the movie i think it would have been better than the actual Hunting Yeti movie, although the classic rock soundtrack was a great refreshing change.

i thought reasons was sick but it was a bit too long.

i own turbo and i think its a toss-up between those two as the best movies this year.

PBP should get somebody with some steeze though like Wallisch, Henrik or Hornbeck.

I mean Simon, Tanner and those kind of people are sick but i wanna see some style in these PBP movies

ya very true.
it is definitly nice to see some vary between peoples style and skiing.

but it would be sick to see wallisch in some bigger name movies.

Last year they upped their filming, and had a sick soundtrack. Yes, I was doubtful of PBP because of their recent string of bunk movies, but Reasons was really really good.

if your saying that it was boring, i have to say I agree with you. to much slowwww moooo IMO, plus i had already seen like half the footage that made up the movie in edits and stuff.

i thought JP and Chris B had the best segment of the year though idk why it just made me so happy. but other than that Reasons was ehh for me.

reasons is my favorite ski movie this year
the opening powder segment was the best bow seg in a really long time, and the urban segment was sick.
also, watching sammy ans simon and jossi sesion the baccountry was really cool

reasons was pretty good but i thought claim sucked ass... Am I the only one that hates big mountain. Seriously i had to fast forward through most of claim cause its all big mtn.  

Has anyone seen The Massive by Tanner hall???

i fell asleep watching reasons, and i was mad stoked on watching it. Not saying it was a bad movie i saw about 95% of it, some really dope parts. But I havent had any interest in wanting to watch again, while ive seen Turbo, Slamina, Under the Influence multiple times.

O thought it was great, by far my favorite moive, great soundtrack, good athletes, definately a movie for the mainstream, the kind you could watch with your parents and everyone in the room would still be stoacked.

i think it all depends on taste. I really enjoyed the music and shooting. There is a whole part in the movie about andreas hatveit and his brother or father (whichever one) follow cam and i really thought that segment was dope. It is about 55% park/ 35% BC/ 10% urban. i think it is worth buying and it has about 2 hours of extra footage.

The Massive was really sick too. Amazing skiing from Tanner and his posse, as always. I don't even like rasta music but I loved this soundtrack!

reasons sick, turbo sick, journal meh, slamina was only good for ljs part wallnuts and harlut,  claim was too repetitive, the massive sooo sick, hunting yeti the same as the webisodes but shorter than expected and such is life was cool but nothing special

No claim had great skiing. Its sorta like wow amazing shots in the backcountry and Big mtn. Then the same thing again and again and again. Then a little park scene and your like wow something different! Then more of the same Big mtn, BC.

I would have to say great skiing loved the pow and big mtn. To much of it though, it repeated wayyyy to much.

Probably my least favorite movie of the year. To sum it up it was horrible. Wayyy over used the phrase greatest movie ever, when it was not.

The Massive: Couple dope segments (Retallack, Mt. Hood Shoot, Copper) with some other segments that I have started to skip over(Austria stuff and alot of the Alaska stuff too), bonus features include the behind the scenes stuff that was posted during last season. Overall a very good movie but a little short in length
Reasons: Has everybody in it with every type of skiing and some really sick stuff, music is not as good as some past PBP films but most of it doesn't have me wondering WTF is it in the movie for. Shitload of bonus features. I'd say it's more bang for your buck.

i just didnt like how MSP has some crazy riders that throw down wherever but just end up producing a sort of lackluster movie at the end of the year. sick solo segments but as a whole the movie was sort of sketchie and didnt really tie together. thats my 2 cents

I liked Reasons a lot.  I didn't like that there was lots of PB footage in other movies, but that just seems to be the way it is.  Good soundtrack, solid footage, sick riding.  JP and Bentchettler in Japan was ridiculous.  I was not stoked on Turbo.  I couldn't stand the soundtrack and I mean there were better shots in the credits than the actual movie.  I've definitely seen better from Level 1.  The Massive was sick.  Tanner continues to astound me with his ability to slay the entire mountain.  Claim was hit or miss.  It was sooo good to see a solid McConkey section again.  Lot's of good humor.  Sick shots.  Typical bad, grungey rock song that always seems to make it's way into a MSP movie.  Hunting Yeti was short and although I've seen most of the footage in the webisodes (not a fan) Pollard, Fujas and Mahre have more style than they know what to do with.  I will always love watching them, but thats me.  My favorite movie of the year is Hot Lunch.  I can watch it and be stoked to ski everytime.  Great soundtrack, great skiing, tons of fun and, well, free.  It doesn't get much better than that.

Well I guess this became a "movies I like this year and why" rather than why I liked Reasons.  Ha ha.
