I need help on big airs.

I need some help for hitting like 40ft kickers and big step ups and stuff like that i can do like 30ft kickers and do a whole pocket fulll of tricks, but when im going off a big cliff or a big jump its realy sketchy and i kinda freak out wen im like 20ft in the air so give me some tips that will help.

when im on like a catwalk i pull the back of one ski up to my shoulder and hold it there so i spin around hahahaha its so trashy

A solid pop with your weight forward is key for bigger jumps.

its all about building confidence. hit it straight a few times until you get the hang of the jump itself, then when you feel confident enough send it and throw a trick you feel the most confident with. there is no shame in doing a straight air!

just bomb into it and straight air that shit and you will be pumped to begin with after you land that and then slowly progress through your bag of tricks...

yeah. Honestly, straight airing a jump isnt bad at all if its fuckin huge. Think about it; yeah its dope to progress, but its not dope to hurt yourself. Watch what other people do around you that are hitting it (speed and such) and make sure that your completely comfortable. If no one's hitting it, then its most likely the jump is a lil sketch.

Just gotta sack up and do it though. If you hit the nuckle on a 40, you'll most likely feel pain, but nothing you cant shake off.

yup. and for straight airing, just throw a massive shifty (or twister? don't know what its called) and it always looks dope for those first few times getting comfortable on the jump.

okay so when you go off the jump
dont look down!! come into the jumo and make sure you feel forward pressure on your shins
and keep your hands forward.
once you get to the top of the jump pop off your toes and throw your hands forward and your hips
and look straight out . that is for straight airs obvs

when you spin dont throw your arms up or down throw hem stright across
so you stay straight in the air and dont land back steat

if you're getting sketched out bringing some tricks to bigger jumps, then your stuff is probably a touch shaky. Get that stuff pat down, and meanwhile hitting ibgger jumps, doing straight airs, getting comfortable with the air time, feel, speed, etc. Then its good to integrate some tricks, and accept that you might eat shit.
