K so i fucked up my knee super bad
Backfliping on the ground
fucked up on one and smaked my knee super hard
Im not gonna go to the doctor cause im on holiday and leaving tomorrow
but i can barley walk and i cant bend my knee in anyway
and when i bend it it feels like something is going to crack
kinda hard to explain
but anyone have anything to help out or had something like this happen

Well of course, like usually on NSG, the correct answer is not applicable i.e. going to the doctor.

However... Ice it up really well, and stay off of it. If you hear cracking etc that is not good at all and knees aren't joints you want to have a quarrel with.

Wrap it up with ace bandage tightly but make sure you can fit 1-2 fingers in the bandage so its not too tight.

ibuprofen and a visit to the doctors. a hurt knee is not really something you want to just ignore.

i was BUI'ing last spring break and took a huge fall off the bike and luckily my knees caught my fall, and i couldnt walk that well for a bit, i iced em up a ton, but anything that touched it gave me the same pain i had when i first hit them. i had this thing called "bursitis" in my knee and it felt like a waste to go to the doctor and get it x rayed cause in the end he just told me to take over the counter painkillers and ice it all the time. but i'd go get it checked out even if its the same thing i had cause it could be worse. i hurt it in late april or early march and got back on skis for stowe's last day on 4/20. i had a friend who had the same thing but like skied and used her knee like it was nothing and her recovery time was magnified alot. so stay off it and keep ya head up and i bet youll be fine

sounds like a good day to get back on skis, im sure being blazed out of your mind took the pain away

but i decided to go to the doctor when i get back cause
yeah i dont wanna injur it more cause could put me out of skiing
