God dammit, being back home is driving me crazy. I'm so fucking bored constantly. I tried playing videogames but I feel like a piece of shit within fifteen minutes. I've already watched way too many shows and movies on my laptop. I've prowled NS to death. I got banned from TGR. Shit needs to end, the sooner I go back to UVM the better... Anyone else getting a little stir crazy at home?

Yeah, that's what I planned on doing all break but VT got raped by rain like a week ago. All the trails are just solid sheets of ice, as are the landings for all the jumps. The setups for boxes have gone to shit, there's like one good down rail at my mountain right now and that's the only thing worth hitting. Considering I have explosive shinbang from yesterday and a backyard sesh the day before I just can't justify the hour drive up for one fucking down rail. It's killing me though. Maybe I'll hit up Burton Factory or something...

yeah i can't be home anymore. i'm grounded for totaling my car. how my parents think they can ground an 18 year old i'll never know but i HATE being home. plus i miss my friends at UVM wayyy too much. AND no one smokes or drinks or ANYTHING in my hometown sooo i can't even party which i guess i also can't do cuz i'm under fucking house arrest. gahhhhh

Well I'm aware of that, that's why I'm bored as fuck. I can't stand playing videogames and TV/NS has lost its appeal, too. I'm not entirely against reading but I don't think I could get into it right now, I need to do something either active or social and neither is easily accessible in the middle of bumfuck, VT without transportation.

school isnt that bad for me so i dont mind going back. And i didnt get any homework so ive been on the mountain all vacation and that never gets boring. I dont know why but when i get bored i build shit....like rails, boxes, starters...tree forts haha. try that sometime, it keeps your mind off things

I actually really like that idea. I definitely would feel much less like a huge waste of life if I were building a rail I'd actually use instead of sitting around staring at screens. I'm gonna look into that, thanks for the suggestion.

yeah i just got back from my cousins in upstate new york where we play a ton and all the ponds suck here, there's like a quarter inch of slushy ice but they're further south and have black ice...

I have been out all break with injury and havn't been able to ski since December 17th. 51cm of fresh snow fell at my home mountain within the last 24 hours and it has been dumping for the last 2 weeks. Just my luck, the biggest storm of the decade and I'm out on the couch.

I won't lie to you, I don't want break to end. I don't go to school. Instead, I work 60+ hours a week at a job I LOVE building terrain park. And over this break, I met a girl who is on break. We're dating now, and I assume we still will when she goes back to school, but that means she will be 2 hours away, instead of 20 minutes from work. I just kinda wish she would be on break for SO much longer, so we could spend more time together.

Yea being home is nice for a little but ive been pretty freakin bored the last couple days. I would say i want to go back to school but im going to keystone for a week in 2 days so school is the last thing on my mind right now.

now im not in college but this past week from the 27th to the 2nd was the best time of my life...my brother went back to college, my parents came back home-both reasons for the best time of my life and my whole life basically went from paradise to hell in 24 hours, at this point in time the last thing i wanna do is get up at 6 20 tomorrow morning show up at school and sit and listen to my fat ass spanish teacher talk in a language i cant understand....sorry for the rant

i dont want to go back quite yet. I really enjoy school, but since break started, we got shit by over 150 inches. I've had basically a pow day every day ive skied, but as a cockslap, we could get 3 feet by tomorrow and I have school. I got to be lazy as shit, and now I have to bust my shit off, but at least there will be skiing and skipping to ski and wasting gas to ski to keep my mind from blowing up.

i'm in the same boat as you guys in VT. i'm back at my parents house in Illinois and he had so much snow. about a foot and a half, so i decided to build a backyard rail to keep me occupied while I was here. the day after I build it, a huge heat wave came through and brought a half inch of rain with it. needless to say my rail has not been hit yet and i'm bored as all can be. i just want snow or school to start back up.

Haha damn, this shitty little thread exploded. Just got back from a friend's where I got to partake in exciting activities such as watching Fight Night 3 because I have a massive cast on my gamin'/maserbatin' hand so I can't play myself, and watching Robot Chicken (admittedly amazing). Can't even tell you how jealous I am of all you people with snow...and it's funny shit you all found that TGR post, there's a few others lurking around that are similarly obnoxious.

I'm out for the night, but before I pass out I gotta ask, has anyone been to Burton Factory recently? I have a ton of errands to run in Burlington tomorrow and if it's even remotely decent I will slay that shit for hours to release pent up energy.

im sorta in the middle. on the one hand, i cant ski at home, so i cant wait to get back to school and ski. but im home with my gf who is 1500 miles away when im at school which is obviously nice, and to be honest ive had an amazing time not doing jack shit since ive been home. but i still have another week and a half before i go back to enjoy it
