spraypainting poles

I've got the spaypaint, i'm just wondering if i should sand the poles down before i put it on. has anyone done this? thanks.

haha, no if anything it is quite funny. When I was a smaller kid people made fun of me but it was all good fun now its just funny, even at the border the guy that was checking ou passports amde a joke about it. Anyways, fill me in brody.

if your poles are carbon fiber, the paint will just crack off when they flex (unless the paint is latex based), and if the poles are aluminum, the paint will chip off then you hit them together, so it's kinda useless to paint them.

haha, this is crazy, i just spraypainted my poles black, they are holdin up ok. i also did the tails of my skogens. we sanded them, but they are scratching up real fast. its cool though because the scratches so the original design, it actually looks cool.

im gonna candy cane my poles for christmas like paint the whole thing red , then put masking tape in like a loopedy loop thing and then put white paint over ..... its gonna be dope

ive broken my share of goode poles, they are nice tho. kid i ski with stole a rental pole, and that thing has lasted longer than any pole i have ever seen. next time, im just gonna get some burly ass steele poles.

i hate people that steal your poles, it really sucks... once a mini skier stole my brothers poles and he found them lying beside a pair of mini skis (he had skied about 3 hours without poles) so he picked the mini skiers skis up and threw them against the tremblant lodge. it was awesome
