I thought my first day touring was going to be annoying, when it
came to taking the skins off and then putting them back on. But, it was
hassle free for some odd reason. I must say, ski touring has to be one
of the funniest things, way better than skiing park all day.
There was a bit of an inversion this morning, at the spittle it was
-8. The temperature at 649 meters (GS Car Park), read -4 or -5 all day.
Driving into the car park, i soon relished there there wasn’t much
snow about for any great touring opportunity. But, it was only 9.00am
and i could of easily went home if i wanted. Any way, i'm going to let
the photo's do the talking now, because i still can't be botherd writing
any more.
This was skinning across to beag trying to avoid rocks, frozen grass and heather.
The last 30 meters or so over the col was hard skinning with out crampons.
