I was up there this past weekend. Its pretty good, but I would in no way compare it to Whistler. Apples to Oranges man! Big White is the size of - oh - harmony bowl or so here that is only a fraction of the mountain. Whistler is SO, SO, SO worth it. Its a different world.

if ur going around holiday time, the cheapest ull find in the village is about 195$ a night, but if you stay in a hostel its alot cheaper

Check out their websites and see for yourself on prices man. In terms of product though, there is no comparison at all. Big White is less expensive to be sure, but you are getting WAY more for your dollar at Whistler.

Big White's a great mountain to go to, but i wouldnt compare it to whistler in any possible way.

The snow is really light and dry
there's a good amount of varried terrain
lots of glades
Pretty much all of the accomadation is on the hill, ski-in ski-out style.
The village is lacking, but good for families.

great fucken mountain, its pretty big, gets good snow, i dunno about this year, i havent been, but its great, lotsa fun runs outta bounds, prk wasnt bad, I think it was big white that had the super pipe last year. sun peaks in kamloops is better in my books. get your parents to go to golden, that places fucken rules. KICKING HORSE MONTAIN RESORT. seriously you will have no regrets.

hey man im a big white local and if yer going to come don't think that its gunna be anything like whistler. Its totally a chill smaller mountian with alot of pretty good riding. pretty much the whole mountian will be open tomorrow, and for 50 bucks a lift ticket you can't go wrong. a gopod spot for families and an ok park. deff. worth a visit.
