My PC crashed a few days ago. I was infected by the nasty strain of trojan vundo H. I have window XP service pack3
Initial problem:After I ran malware bytes I rebooted my computer and everytim I logged in windows, the blue screen of death would appear of a fraction of a second then reboot my computer. When I tried safe mode, my computer would shut off.
What I did so far: I ran the bootfix to correct all errors in my boot sequence. Now I had safe mode. I continued with the chkdsk r to correct the problems, bur nothing changed. I ran malware bytes and norton to find and destroy the trojan. I found a dll file and got rid of it, I ran the scanner 2 more times to come up with nothing. My computer is clean.
My problem: Everytime I boot my computer in normal running, the blue screen appears and forces me to shut down the computer. My error code is: 0X0000008E (0Xc0000005, 0XEE84C21D, 0XEE7667E8, 0X00000000)
How can I fix this, will a simple window CD fix work?
Please help me!
