Missing AFD, Binding Tech's?

I picked up my skis today and noticed that the AFD on one of my bindings is missing. They're Rossi Axial 140's. It looks like the entire black plastic piece with the slider broke off. Anyone know if I can just stop by a shop and have it fixed? Or is there some special part that needs to be ordered? Are they still safe to ski on? They're 2 years old so I'm guessing warranty is out of the question.

definetely stop by your shop to have them check it out and see if they have a spare off of a compatible binding. if you ski without it, it could be trouble because that's what your toe of your boot presses down on so if it's not there that means there is a bunch of extra space there and your boot will release/move much easier.

I broke one of those on an axial 140 once. you can get the entire piece replaced, which is what I did. It is important to get it replaced, because your boot may not release properly without it.

is it just me, or do the rossi/look bindings get fucked up a lot? a couple of my friends have had these fuck up on theh, but I had some s910 Ti's for three years straight and all they have are some battle scars and they still work fine.

naw dude, it might not be just you...two of my ski buddies have had problems with numerous pairs of rossi bindings. I have look and they seem to be holding up well, but i have heard many complaints.
