Shaun White Snowboarding anyone?

Hey so i picked this game up the other day, when i was first playing it it felt really crappy and not that great but after a while it started to get fun and addicting. i beat it in two days (would have been 1 but i got to caught up with just cruisin around) BUT ANYWAY...if anyone else has it for 360 whats your gamertag and we can sesh sometime. and i recommend it

amped 3 from like 3 years ago is 1000 times better. has real boards and real mountains. and open arcitechute not just single slope boards.  i think shawn whit is bunk!  cant beleive i wasted money on it.

shawn whites alright when you get used to the controls, amped 3 was stupid, in my opinion amped 2 was, and still is, the best snowboard game out there just because its the most realistic with its spinning axiss and amazing jumps

Apparently EA is making a snowboarding game that will be a lot like S.K.A.T.E.


It is supposed to come out this year I think. If true it will destroy Shaun White and Amped

ya...the wii version is sick because you can use the balance board so its more 'real'....i just wish they could make a game like shaun white boarding, but with skiing, like jon olsson skiing or something

Gameplay/story (3.5/10):

-the controls are loose and choppy, I find it difficult to line up for jumps and jibs, half-pipe is a joke

-the story is fucking LAME (I don't want to collect coins for shaun white the filthy ginger, I want to shred the gnar). half of the "subquests" are online only so i cant do them, and the other ones are pretty uninspiring

-the game is also very uninformative, I have no idea where to buy new gear, and whether there is an actual purpose to the random "subquests" around the mountain...

-i fucking hate the packs of AI snowboarders who run into you and get in your way all of the fucking time, can you turn this off? please let me know....

Graphics/sound (5/10):

-the graphics are PAR at best, there are a few good looking instances, but overall its very mediocre

-the soundtrack is brutal, shaun white must've put his iPods "most played" list on there because all of the songs SUCK DICK.

Overall (4.5/10):

-granted, i have not beat them game (no motivation to collect coins or do redundant side-quests) so I may be a little hasty in my poor ranking, but I've played a lot of video games and i know a stinker when i play it.

This is a perfect breakdown.  At the end of the day, it just isn't any fun to play.  The controls are clunky, and the act of riding and picking lines isn't satisfying.  I can tolerate an awful story and redundant goals/missions...but the gameplay stinks.

wow am i really the only one who really likes it? haha the story line does suck massive huge gorrila king kong dong. but i can still sit down and play it for a few hours at a time im actually gonna go play now =P if anyone wants to play my gamertag is xcrunkchronic x and if you need $$$ ive got like 300,000,000,000 from glitching hahaha

ha ha i loved it on the wii with the balance board thought it was loads of fun! but i think as a girl who is terrible at pretty much all computer games since streets of rage on the mega drive at least it is easy enough for someone like me to do and ace for having a  laugh with your (equally inept at computer games) mates xxx
