How to put skiers on your helmet the right way

Every time I try to put stickers on my helmet, it suck and the stickers have a bunch of bubbles and shit. How do you do it the right way?

try putting them on one side first then smoothing out the rest of the sticker until it is fully on and smooth. also try finding the flattest spots of your helmet. those areas normally work best.

If your putting on diecuts it can help to cut small slits in the paper stuck to the stickers, makes it easier to contour the sticker to the curve of your helmet

i find if i really cant smooth it down, if you  carefully and minorly cut the sticker where its bubbling you can get them flat, and if your careful overlapping them no one can tell the difference

Start from one corner/side. Slowly with your thumb press the rest of the sticker down (make sure your holding the other side of the sticker with your other hand so it doesn't accidently get stuck). Make sure your doing this in a warm room. Applying stickers in the cold is counterproductive. You can warm up the surface and still do it though.

go from one corner/side and slowly press down as others have mentioned. if a place is bubbling up , push to form like a thin ridge that goes up, try to get it at a spot which doesnt affect the sticker, then get a lighter and run it over quickly a few times it'll flatten the ridge right out. i pretty much but a lighter to all of my stickers, seems like it makes them hold better, and if you have any that come out over the edge of the helmet a bit it'll take it right off

if their from vinyl go with a go over the sticker with a lighter...

A blow dryer works really well too. Any sticker that I apply with a blow dryer is less prone to flaking, chipping, and bubbling and stays on much longer.

This might work, i use it when i put on mx decals.

just make a batch of light soap water and then put some soap water on the spot where you want the sticker and you can slide it around until you have it where you want it. then squeegee until it sticks.

cut little slits along the edges if its a normal sticker, then the slits can overlap or expand to accommodate for the curvature of your lid. if its a decal (2 peels), just apply it like everyone else said, it doesnt matter if theres bubbles in the semi-transparent paper, just make sure there arent any bubbles in the actual decal itself.

(for die-cuts) i usually put them on then heat them up using a lighter then take the piece of glossy paper (not the thin one that is sticky) and then rub the slick side along the sticker to make sure it sticks nice 'n good

stickers are meant to be put on flat surfaces... when you put them on something spherical they stretch and bunch up... cut little slits where they bunch and stretch to help.

for die cuts I kind of stick the center down first and work my way out and ive never had a problem with wrinkles or bubbles this way though I do take my time.

Start from the very side of the sticker and use your thumb or a credit card and smooth it down  to eliminate bubbles)

If u have bubbles use an exacto knife and poke the bubble and work the air out
