Looking for websites

1st excuse the grammar im on ps3 ive always taken photos and such for fun but i really want to get more into it. so if anyone has websites that give basic and more advanced info in all areas of photography it would be appreciated . also movie and editing info aswell from dif camcorders to video types to best editing programs. this wouldnt be just for skiing but everything ty and +k for all

For an editing program, I would go with Final Cut Express 4. I use it now and it's pretty solid, fast and fairly easy to use. Another good program is Sony Vegas, I personally haven't used it but I've heard good things. And as for websites I just searched around a lot of blogs for shooting tips and tricks.

I use adobe primere and adobe after effects with my canon hv30, love all of them

thanks for replies, ill look further into the programs mentioned.

but any ideas on the best companies for cameras and camcorders?

For SLRs, Nikon and Canon are probably the best way to go, I personally prefer Nikon because I'm familiar with them but Canon has great cameras as well.

As for camcorders, I don't know what price range your looking for but if you want a nice small cam that can shoot with 1080i/p resolution and won't break the bank, I suggest going with either the Panasonic HDC-SD9 or the Canon HF10...

that just proves how noobie i am. i dont even know what SLR stands for. Im guessing Standard L.... Resolution or something.
