i spent the night with my girlfriend. we watched pulp fiction, cooked a wicked meal, made lattes and had a couple drinks. way better than some huge party imo

New years was invented so that you could go get shit faced with all your buddies at a huge party, but you had to be gay and spend the night drinking lattes and probably drinking gay ass mixed drinks like mojitos. Mojito even sounds super gay. you just lost your manliness just in one night

I threw a party at my house, and it was the farthest thing from a shit show. But, It had some major oppurtunities to be. All I remember was pong, "ya dig", way to much rum, and me talking to every girl i have hooked up with in the past 6 months.

Me and my girlfriend-- (actually this is the gf, im logged in as Casey so I'm telling the story from his perspective)-- headed into downtown seattle, met up with my gf's brother, and his gf, then we started with a couple of beers at gordon beirsch (sp?) in Pacific Place.  We then headed to the Presidents of the USA concert at the paramount theater, where we had a few more beers, then, because there were so many opening bands, we went to a pub down the street and had a couple of more beers. We then went back to the Presidents show, at about 11:30-- and watched them play until 1:00am.  Had a great midnight kiss with my fabulous girlfriend, then left and headed to another bar where we drank until they kicked us out. We then went back to the hotel room we booked for the night and-- well you know how it goes from here--

--we both passed out immediately with all of our clothes on.

well heres the thing...the busses are on strike in my city (ottawa) and getting a cab on new years is pretty impossible. the only way i could get to a party was by driving and i didnt feel like driving and staying sober new years. being the driver sucks. i guess i dont take new years seriously enough to drop like $60 on transportation just to drink

This party i went to had two live bands and was fucking RAGING at 10pm when i showed up, expected it to be just getting started but it was packed wall to wall in every room at like 10pm. By 2am there were about 3-4 puke piles in the main room of the living room, all sorts of shit EVERYWHERE and no one in the party wasn't blacked out. Good times. Woke up this morning on the couch of my buddies with all my cloths on, no blanket, still drunk. Great time to say the least, i just barely started feeling good.

Drank some Bailey's and did the torch light parade and shot roman candles during it. And later we had 4 trooper SUV's roll up on us and catch us with over $200 worth of paraphernalia...smooth talked my way out of that shit and ended up not getting arrested, an MIC, or even a slap on the wrist for that matter. then we went to some other party where I watched Travis Durtschi eat shit down a flight of stairs. It was an awesome night.

it doesnt even matter what else you did the fact that you saw the presidents of the usa in concert makes you claim this thread- favorite band from the 90's basically but they dont tour over here to ohio often
