My Loon Mtn ski coach did a 360 mute today and the ski that he was grabbing poped off in mid air. He has had Jesters since last season, and this is the first time this has happened. The wierd thing is another kid on my team did the same thing a month earlier, did a 360 mute and pulled it off. To investigate it, all the kids on my team with those bindings (including myself) tested on flatground. Only my coach and that one kid could pull it off, and only on one specific ski. My question is; has this happened to anyone, on other bindings too? What can be done?
Spark notes: My coach has Jesters. He did a 360 mute and his ski poped off, same with another kid on my team w/ Griffins. Wierd.

If you tweak a mute hard enough, it will pull off on most bindings.

I did this on a pair of Salomon bindings one time. I know it can happen on any binding with enough tweek though because twisting like that is one of the ways the binding is designed to release.
All times are Eastern (-5)
