I was looking on ebay for some bindings, and i noticed that there are like 1000 pairs of skis being sold, and only like 240 bindings being sold. Then i go to online stores, d-structure is almost totally sold out of bindings, and most other shops are in a similar predicament, but they carry so many skis! wtf??!?!?!? Do people just buy skis, and use duct tape as bindings nowadays? Bindings seem really tough to get. I thought about that people re-use bindings, package deals, and the fact that not very much sizing is required for selecting bindings, but it still doesnt make that much sense.
so they touch there skis now?-my grandma after watching RFA

since binding technology doesn't change, alot of people just re-use their clamps until they fall apart.

First off, people often use their old bindings on new skis. As mentioned above, some of them probably have bindings on them already. Its not a huge conspiracy, so settle down....

I'd suggest you to call D-Structure at the shop or send them an e-mail to know what left in stock cuz I know their site isnt updated frequently. I went to the D about 2 weeks ago and they had plenty of bindings and a lot more than what is on the website. Good luck
