could anyone tell me how to hook my ps3 up to the internet? a pointing me in the right direction would be greatly apreacheted too.  thanks

Not gonna lie PS3 Connections suck mine never works. You go to settings or what ever and go down to network settings and its pretty straight forward from there.

i use a router for mine, but ive been having some problems with my connection.
but like was said before, its pretty straight forward when you go to network stuff.

just curious, how hard is it to figure this stuff out yourself? i'm sure somebody took the time to write out a full explanation in the user manual, which is probably online if you're too lazy to dig that out. And even with these resources i'm sure the people at sony took the time to make the user interface pretty easy to work through even if you don't read the manual.

okay so whats you habe to do
is go to the home menu and go to network setting
and in there go to internet connection
(this i for wireless)
then itll say something like search for sever and youclick yes
then choose the name of your sever and just keep agrreging to anything it asks you
and then to be ure do an internet connection test

My wireless internet connection always says I have a 100% connection but whenever I try to play COD 4 It never works... The only game that has ever worked on line was Skate.
