Ski choice help

im a blue mountain man fresh from the east moved to calgary to experience the rockies and "real snow/skiing"...anyways im big on park spending about 80% of my time in it and when i wasn't in the park i was hiking the sides of hills lookin for cool drop ins whatever to spin off of so to get down to the point im lookin into back country jumps cliffs and powder/tree skiing as my new interest maybe with a bit of a park slant and i was wondering what would perform best for such skiing cause my dumonts just aint gonna cut it nemore...ARG, EP Pro, S7 is what ive narrowed my choices down to..i ski sunshine village and i guess have a pretty fast aggressive style im 5'11 147 pounds.....any input would be cool seeing as im new to NS and new to powder and everything i kno comes from watchin movies never actually demoed a ski wider then 90mm..i kno these are elite skis for advanced powder skiers but i can learn!  Thanks, a nub

when dumonts dont wuite do it, go for the arg! thtad be a lot of money to throw down, and if you have it great, but maybe you will just ant to retn something and make sure your into it all, unless you have done that. i have heard only amaing things about the ep pro

i would get something in like the 95 to like 110 underfoot range. but im not really sure past that

i know how you feel though. i've been skiing the ice coast since i was three, always had a real racing style, like to carve up groomers and steeps with my brothers.
This summer i spent two weeks skiing in New Zealand and i rented twin tips the whole time i was there. i tought myself a lot of park stuff, and also got to ski some awesome open pow lines (theres no trees). Now all i do is watch movies about skiing huge lines or waist deep pow, and some park too. now i still like to carve, but i also love to mess around, teaching myself more park, skiing groomers switch, and hiking around to find pow and stuff. I just bought myself a pair of Fischer Addicts that i really like, but their definitely not a powder ski. awesome for everything else though

haha yeah i find myself the same way cant stop watchin ski movies about crazy back country and what not looks like so much more fun ive been so underprivileged now that i can ski at sunshine..i think i was born in the wrong province i couldhave been so much better by now..anyways thanks for new years comment lol butttt..this thread is kinda rendered useless by my new one cause i narrowed it down..do rly want some big powder sticks so if u wanna read that and pop another comment go right ahead happy new year.
