I just wanted to see what people thought about this. I thought it would help out alot of noobs like me with all of the lingo that goes around NS, which is understood by members that have been here longer then most.
Additions would be greatly apreciated, every so often, someone i'll post the whole dictionary back up so there will be no repeats.
Post the word you would like to add, and a defintion after, in the format I did, so its easy to add to the refference. Or, post a correction of anyones defintion, including mine.
I would really like to keep this going, for it could help alot of new people coming to NS and having trouble adapting to the lingo.

How to get from the bottom of Alta to Chad’s gap
Refers to the one of the epic threads of NS, “how to get from the bottom of alta to chads gap”, a huge amount of people hated on these guys wanting to hit the gap, they hit the gap, pulled a few tricks and the hating stopped. The thread is still around today, and people still comment.
Afterbang
Riding away after you stomp a trick like you can hit it in your sleep, effortless, so you ride away, arms swaying, like you’re the shit, and there’s no doubt about it.
Claim!
After a trick that you stomp, you do something like throw your hands up in the air, like it was the sickest trick ever, almost the exact opposite of Afterbang.
Pics or it didn’t happen.
Randomness of NS, when people post things outrageous, someone will eventually say, “pics or it didn’t happen” as a joke, or they actually want to see pictures.
My Ankles Are Broken!!!
Refferes to Tanner Halls attempt at chads gap, where, he hit the lip of the landing, breaking his ankles, and screaming “MY ANKLES ARE BROKEN” a few times.
No Homo
A saying, not just from NS, but used fairly often. E.g. When people say thing like “I love you” they will usually say “no homo” after, to ensure, that they weren’t acting “gay like”.
Steeze
Style. Enouph said. Its the way you move throught the air, like you can do it any time, all day long, or slide on the rail, effortless, and stomp the landing all day every day.
Word
Means yeah, I agree, so someone would quote another persons post and say "word".
Gapper
Bassicaly up to the person, but in my eyes, someone who goes through the terrain park, saying stupid words, like whirlybirds. They go off the jumps and wreck the lips, and hit boxs straight on. They do spread eagles, go in between features, dont wait there turn, cut people off and just ruin the terrain parks... At least this is my definition, and others could varry.
