Moment Ruby for me!?

Ok so I'm 5'9" 150lb and looking for some pow skis for northern california area mainly. I was thinking about getting the Moment Rubys in 180 cuz I heard they are pretty light and I am kinda a small rider. Should I go with the Rubys or consider the bibby pros? I think the bibbys are too much ski for my size.

If you're any sort of good skier, you will be able to handle the Bibbys. The rocker and light weight make the ski seem a bit shorter than it is. I don't think you can go wrong with either ski though. It just depends on the type of skiing you do.

if your close to san fran D-structue  had rubys for cheap like 350

and they also had mele's which fucking rock. like the bibbys but fatter and softer


but that was thanksgiving
you could also handle bibbys.


id say rubys for pow/allmountain
bibbys for more pow less allmountain
and meles if you are just fucking cool and like to ski pow

Foreal! I just checked out D-structure and was stoked to see the good prices. Thanks, I think I'm gonna go with the Bibbys since I just need a pow ski.

or for 100% pow (3rd ski in a quiver) you could go Donner Party or ARG.

rubies are sick skis, the bibby will feel more jibby and be slightly softer whereas the ruby will charge a little harder
i've never heard a single bad comment about the ruby, people love them
and i have tahoes in a 180 and they measure to about 184 so moment measures long, 180 sounds perfect for you
