were you sliding reg or unnaty? cause the one at whistler is curved left... and i would imagine sliding with tails to the ground would be easier... so id have to slide it unnatty... i have no point... i just thought about that and figured i should get better at unnatty and then try it.

I found rotating on it - buttering I guess - made things a bit easier. I rotated natural 180 through one that was long enough that a slowish spin took me the lenght of it. It seemed to feel pretty natural and ballanced on the C that I was on.

If it was the one at Tremblant lean forward and think about locking your feet on the box.

Crystal - needs, your problems are solved, they have C boxes at Whistler that curve both ways now, and I think they have a 3rd one in the chipmunk park. But yeah I hit them on Saturday. They felt pretty good, just did a 50-50 to 180 but i found it was all about gettin the right speed to carry it through. Tried it sideways on, but didnt have enough speed.

i think the tricked to banked boxes is the perfect speed, watching people hit our S rail, if they went to fast (like me) we would just go right off the end when it curves, too slow and you slide off the box down the slope.

it took me a couple tried for the one at steven. speed was a factor at all but mostly it was the angle i was hitting it at. just make sure your landing on it 90 and if you slip of the back of it come more from that side next time, if that makes any sense.

i prefer tips to the ground, so curved left for me. there realy easy, just get on with a wide stance, nice a ballanced and crouched. dont try to steer it around, if its banked, the box will do it for you, just watch the end and it will come around. i find sliding with tips up more difficult, but there generaly the same...

another thing:
if you find out you're falling forward a lot, maybe try sliding toward the upper end of the box more (as long as it's tilted slightly, which i'm guessing it would be)
then as you get more comfortable, you can actually slide it with your boots in the middle of the box.

i prefer sliding with my nose pointing down, ie left foot back.
