War in Gaza

What do y'all think?

I feel bad for the people of Gaza as they obviously are being taken hostage and are being drug into another conflict with Israel due to their illegitimate Government attacking civilian installations in southern Israel. By not renewing the cease fire with Israel, Hamas proves again that they have no interest in finding a comprehensive solution to the Israeli-Palestinian Crisis.

I think there is a distinct possibility this could lead to a large regional if not global conflict.

Hamas has no interest in anything except blowing stuff up. They climb to the top of the building where innocent people are living, and they shoot rockets, waiting for the inevitable counter-attack that will kill innocent people and make it seem as if they are not the ones in the wrong. Sad people if you ask me.

Still doesn't warrant the isrealis killing hundreds of civilians and targeting academic institutions.  Israel and Hamas are both "sad people" but the israelis take it so much further.

do they have a choice? every time they try to make a peace agreement, some Hamas assholes fire sixty rocket straight at them. we aren't talking schoolyard bullies here, you don't just walk away and call a teacher, they really have no choice but to respond.

To tell you the truth, im so sick and tired of hearing about the fighting. It sucks for the people held there, unable to do anything, but this has been going on for a long time now. What makes it worse is that the eastern countries support Palestine and the western countries support Israelis. Ive got to the point were I wanna say, just let them fight it out and annihilate themselves.

good thing i'm not in the US, but as far as i've heard Hamas were the first to violate, but if you can inform me otherwise then i'd like to see it because i honestly don't think i know enough about this.

are you kidding. gaza is the same size as like a quarter of rhode island.  some hamas idiots fire some rockets and kill one israeli and the israelis kill hundreds of innocent gaza civilians in response.  is this fair?    In my opinion there really is no way of solving this situation, but I do not think that the zionists should have been so militant about making it a jewish homeland in the first place and the U.N./ british should have given it to the palestinians in the first place instead of giving it to the jews as repirations for the holocaust, after all the palestinians had been living there under british rule and independently for the previous couple thousand years. what gave them the right to just take it from the palestinians a couple thousand years later and opress the arabic people of the area?  I cannot think of any good reason why it should be a jewish homeland.  The U.S.  needs to stop supporting Israel and just let them duke it out.

israel isnt just some small ass village. they have cities too that are pretty modern like tel aviv. its not like they have dirt roads and camels everywhere. living in tel aviv would be badass though. theres some good night clubs and its also right on the beach

It is funny that Cynthia McKinney was there.  Haha that woman is nuts!!  But definitely sucks for all the people just trying to help.
