Switch spinning

Think of how you spin normally, and break it down into steps. Next time you're riding the lift back up, sequence the trick in your head, step by step, only in the other direction. Practice doing it off little bumps and whatnot until you get the hang of it.

i have the same problem--im alright at sw unnatural 3s now and just doing 'blind' switch natural 3s by looking over my right shoulder and then just spinning left right from the lip, but i've learned it's much easier than i thought it was going to be to just learn to ski swtich looking over my left shoulder.  try it out.

i do the same thing. i spin left but right switch. i think its because i have to look over the right shoulder to get on rails switch. just work on looking over your other shoulder. it feels weird but you just have to relearn it

i spin right.  When i ride switch I look over my right shoulder.  I also spin to the right while riding switch. I don't know what that means?

i do too!
but now every time i ski switch, i try my hardest to keep looking over my left shoulder. I've been getting more and more comfortable with it, and it has helped me out a bunch.
but i can also spin equally both directions, so it really doesnt matter for me.

just when riding around not in the park just practice looking over the other shoulder and it will get better. think about staggering your skis so your hips point downhilll and then your shoulders will follow and then just turn your neck and you got it.

I thought I was the only one that did that... I have been fighting some injuries this year and have spent some time just riding the hills switch and practicing looking over the opposite shoulder. Start slow and make long arching curves, then pick it up a bit each run making tighter turns. Practice is probably the best solution

It's all about attitude: i guess most folks feel the same way when they start spinning switch, but i think the main reason is because their attitude and stance while riding switch is the main reason. If ur confident and stand straight up, center gravity, and pull ur shoulder back it gets way better..

When u ski forward ur normal stance is balance on mid/front-part of ur foot, do just the same going switch, dont lean closer to the ground, and if u wanna get low, dont lean backwards towardst he ground, cause then u see less. Just ski shitloads switch while looking over ur left shoulder, or both, but in this case left. Get the riding while looking over both shoulders down, and u should be good.

When u get to that down, remember to pop on the lip... if u dont pop ur spin and balance would be more random... so, balance and pop.. !
