get hurt coming up short on a lincoln?

I was just thinking today, it seems like it would be more painful to come up short on a lincoln a little bit rather than just a 3 or something... experiences?

Last May I came up short on a licoln loop off the hip in main park at mammoth. I landed on my side as my edge dug into the snow. Fractured my greater trochantor (hip). it sucked, i missed out on the spring pipe

As long as you hit the transition you shouldnt be too bad. You can fuck yourself up doing anything, if you are that afraid of lincolns, dont do them, if you are willing to take the risk do them.
