it was just on tv! they did a whole segment on skiing and interviewed douglas, turpin and mauro nunez. way to go senior schmuck for gettin a little spot in there! they seemed to showcase mainly armada skis in there even though they did do some filming in comor sports.

we showed up on the hill and MD pulled us over to do this shit...i like how they showed at the start how 'your parents' ski and why its not cool...then they showed how turpin is killin it and how it is...once again i got left on the cuttng room floor...

to sum up what was said in this forum

2. Who the fuck still uses the word hip, except for that thing that my legs attaches to.

my response to the past few statements, this is a HUGE advertisement. Maybe no so much physical, but pyschologically. This will help our businesses grow faster, albeit not by much. Some kid that hates to be on a snowboard more than on skis will have a greater strength to switch over. Come on guys, THE GLASS IS 1/2 FULL.

Yeah. Petek, that is exactly what i dont get. There are these kids that are or were good skiers but started snowboarding cuz skiings gay. I think now as new school skiing gets more media coverage, more than just xgames crap, the industry will grow. A good videogame will help this greatly.
Oh and that reminds me: if skiing is hip are we officially 'Newschool Skiers?' Cuz that sounds ghetto/cheezy. I think there could be a better term for this new type of skiing.

I saw that article last night. It was good to see them talking about twins, rather than just 'normal' skis. They showed off a little bit of how skiing has evolved from just skiing down the hill making big swooping S turns with 260cm skis.
