the town I live in (Rossland, BC) is built on a mountain pass halfway up the mountain. I think the vert of town is around 300m. needless to say it's a street skiing paradise. I can ski at the hill all day, take the lift up for last run and ski down the backside of the mountain to my house to grab my wallet, continue on to the liquor store (while hitting a qp and sliding an urban rail or two on the way), buy some booze and keep skiing down to a friends house to party and hit their backyard jib setup.
All the while people are skiing and GT'ing everywhere around town.
