nah im kidding. Basically just park? your going to want something light, not fat really, like low 80's underfoot or less. Probably something with a nice butter zone. i would definitely look into Armada, a friend just got the Pipe Cleaners and likes em, theres also the Alpha 1 which is a rocker ski. but i mean, there are a ton of other companies... and a ton of different things you want to consider like length, dimensions, rocker or not. give us some more info?
dont listen to any of the advice that has been given so far. the first guy obviously has no idea what he is talking about, and the second 2 are probably just suggesting invaders/anthems because they ride them. you are 180 pounds and 6'2'' so you are going to need a bigger more burly ski. my two favorite park skis(coming from a bigger guy myself, 6' 200lb) are chronics and line addicts, both in 181. both are amazing all mountain and kill it in the park. feel free to pm me if you have any more questions
i dont think im wrong... i skied with a kid today that was easily your size or bigger and he was on AR6's and he was really good. its not the burliest ski and he was doing fine. its really all preference, no need to bash me
your post sounded like you didnt know very much about skis. you reccomended an ar6, a great ski and an alpha 1. a ski with a lot of hype because of its new Elf shoe tech. It hasnt been proven yet, and most likely you havent ridden one or know anyone personally who rides them
Actually, I dont ride invaders or anthems myself, I was just suggesting them because he said he skis in park. I ski on 2008 line blends (the ones that are 90 at the waist) in 179. super dope skis, fat enough for some pow, but still totally solid on groomers and icy conditions. I'd def recommend them. The new ones look pretty ill too.
well just a little heads up, invader/anthem arent the best skis for bigger people. if you want to suggest a symmetrical ski for someone bigger the best choice would probably be an addict or a wall, never skied a wall before but from what ive heard they are pretty sick
i know about skis, maybe not the most, but i know about skis. and i do know someone who personally rides AR6's, like i said, he was just skiing with them and was doing fine. and the Alpha 1 was a suggestion, someones gotta be the first one. its a very different ski with the rocker tip, and should probably be good in powder. nothings proven, its a SUGGESTION. chill the fuck out.
ha, your telling me to chill out when you are obviously upset by what i said, otherwise you wouldnt be trying to defend yourself. i never said anything bad about your ar6 suggestion did i? no i didnt. why would you suggest an unproven ski, he is asking for suggestions not random skis. he could easily have done the same thing and randomly tried the alpha 1, but he is looking for advice on good skis for him, you know nothing about whether the alpha 1s would be a good fit for him. so stop trying to defend your retarded advice.
