just a friendly reminder about lifts

Well this weekend, I was at whistler, and for those who know the area, at about 11:00 my brother fell off the lift at tower 13. He fainted and I tried to grab him but he slipped from me and fell 25 feet. Luckily he landed in fresh powder. But ive never been so scared in my life. The bar was up, but i honestly believe that even if it was down he would of fallen, vecause he slipped off like a snake, and his head would off easily gone underneath the bar. Hes got two compressed vertabre, and a fractered shouldier, which was my fault, cause i grabbed him. And now ive got parents yelling at me? oh well i guess that life.

some 40 year old guy fell off the chair at mammoth over thanksgiving holiday and died. He landed on somebody too, but i am not sure what happened to the guy he landed on.

ahh well he fainted cause his feet were really cold and they made him dizzy. at first they suspected that he was hungry and low on sugar, but after a blood sugar, the patrol and doctors think that might of been the reason

theres a spot on hood where some people jump off the lift but only on pow days and if the mt people see you they pull your pass

In anycase i couldnt imagine sitting next to someone and watching them fall off the chair, let alone a family member, that's horrible, best wishes to him for getting better.
