Binding mounting?

where exactly do you all have your bindings mounted?
what are the benefits of having the bindings close to the center?

as close to center as the ski permits. makes it easier to spin as the ski is more balanced.

I have my skis mounted about 1.5 cm back of center mount. Still gives good balance but handles good as well. My back country skis are mounted to factory settings.

depends what ski you have. public enemy factory setting is really far back where as the armadas are really close to the middle. the closer you go to center the better for the park. if you have a PE go +3

I have fatty powder skis, and I have them mounted 2cm forward of 'half the chord length', the chord length = tip to tail, straight line. If you mount fat skis and the designated spot or farther back, you just sit abck, but for more aggresive skiing, mount them a bit forward.
