This has been done before back in the day, but it kind of failed.  Try again...

So I have seen a bunch of threads in the last few weeks asking for desktop stuff, and I though we could all find features we want if we have a ton of different desktops to check out.  Mine is pretty simple, just a rocket dock with Icalendar lite.  Basically I love the Mac layout, but I need XP for work.  Looks like this normally:

I also have the stack docklet on it so that my files just pop up (that is my pictures on the screen).  You can change it to fan out and stuff too, but mine just pops up in a box:

Post up yours!  I have a tablet PC, so I was hoping to find something that I could put on the desktop that I could handwrite quick notes on.  I know there are post-it applications, but I haven't been able to find one.  Maybe there is something similar.

Basically. You jsut have to boot from the CD. It's a risk free way of trying it

If you can't burn an .iso file to a CD (or do a google search), you're gonna have a hell of a time doing other Linux stuff, so forget about it man, sorry, just being honest.
