Two goggle problems I need help with..

A:  I have Crowbar Persimon lens.  When I go into the cold with them,  the inside of the two lenses fogs and it is impossible to fix it, it is between the two lenses.

B:  Crowbar Fire Iridium lens.  The inner side of the lens (non mirrored side, the side you look through) is all smudged and has a greyish white film I can't seem to get off.  I think it is the antifog that got smudged when they iced over while on top of my head.

Any help of both of these would be great!  +karma

A: put the lens in the fridge over night, there is most likely some water in between the 2 lenses
B: have to ever touch the inside of the lens? cuz thats really the only way you can smudge the antifog

for hte first problem, that happend to me today aha and my buddys dad who works at a ski shop just said leave them out of the goggle case for like a bit or w.e but if it keeps happing you might need to lenses.. ?

The fire lenses are shot. I did the same thing to some iridium lenses. I'm guessing you wiped that shit when it was wet.  Sorry dude that's a fucking bummer I did it to mine like the day after I got em.

That doesn't sound right at all.  I put the same lens through years of shit and they never did anything like what he is describing.

same exact thing happened to my fire iridiums. oakley sent me a brand new lens, all i had to do was mail them the ruined one. oakley is really good about warranties, just give them a call and explain whats up.

I know the feeling, I had gold iridiums and put them through hell and nothing happened but scratching on the outside

^^ I had 2 persimmon lenses fog up between the lenses, they replaced them both.

Really though I think one time was due to a bad crash when my goggles saved my face from injury so it was a bit cheeky to send them back under warranty!
Anyway, Oakley were great and i've since only bought Oakley and with transporting them around protected in my helmet and not face-planting since i've not had any more steam up between the lenses!

sounds like the fire lense is done. the only thing you can do is try and get ALL the anti fog coating off, and put on your own

Your fires are done.

Friend did the same thing to a friend's A Frames like, the second time he ever skied. Didn't know better and windexed the inner and outer..

Not only was it abrasive, but the whole "don't touch when wet" thing, meant they were FUBAR.

Oakley will prolly hook you up though.

your fires ar toast, throw them in the garbage.

for your persimmons pop the lens out and leave your gogs apart overnight in a well ventilated area. they will clear out - if not pm me i have a few trick to fix that said problem -
