Yes allen I titled it that just so you would open it.

I know this is a noob question but I was doing follow cams today and it when I landed I was hitting pretty hard. I don't really think that it could be good for the camera to take such force on it but Im not really sure. Does the hard landing affect the camera in any way? I mean I would assume that hitting the ground might losen up some of the parts..?

Also another noob question, screen out or in? I went in I figured hitting would realy loosen the hinge, and its just safer, but Im never sure if I got the shot or not?

Are u making it to the landings? if you make the transition correctly you should almost not even tell you land. and no you are not doing any damage. Adraras Hatviet's brother hits HUGE features follow cams and it dosent hurt them. I put the screen in for me because i dont look at it when im jumping and it would just get in the way. Also get a fisheye or a wide-angle it will smooth out your shot alot.

It won't "smooth" out the shot, but you will get more in the shot.

yeah I know, and its on my list to buy.. but I need to get some money first. and yeah I am clearing the knuckle.. I clear them just fine but still hit pretty hard..

The wider the angle you can get in the lense the less motion effects the shot. kinda like when you zoom in its much shakier. if you "zoom" our further it will apear smoother.

Still, if you move enough to be noticeable, it will be noticeable with a wide angle on.

But when you have a little bump without a fisheye and it looks like your standing in an earthquake, and over that same bump it will deffanatly shake the camera a bit but it wont make the viewer dizzy

Well even though it has nothing to do with the thread topic but you guys convinced me.. Any ideas on what a good wide angle lens for a vx2000 would be?

Depends on if you want a wide angle, meaning little to no distortion, or fish eye with lots of distortion. Wide angle is anywhere from .6 and higher and fisheyes are .55 and lower usually. Good wide angles are .6 century lens adapters as for fish eyes a raynox(sp) .3x would be dope, i dont know much about fish eyes though.
