NO! this is an old thread but i have the purple one from this year, it sucks! it is barely loud enough riding the chair, skiing you cant even hear it. i have been trying to contact them but no reply...

not really, but the ear flaps have big enough pockets to replace the existing speaker with the icon earclip skull candys. or any other headphone of comparable size
