Phone went through wash, help with warranty stuff

ok, so i have a blackjack 2, and it went through the wash. the screen is all beat up and stuff now, but i got the water out by putting it in a bag of rice. the only noticeable water now is a little bit inbetween the screens when you have the phone on. the little water damage indicator sticker is white though, so should i send the phone in now on warranty? or should i put it back in the rice and see if i can get the water inbetween the screens out

put it in rice for a few days...if it doesn't work, send it in!

yeah it's been in the rice for a week, im just talking about the little bit of water inbetween the screens, i don't know if they will turn down my repair because of that

just so you know the water indicators aren't supposed to be white so that means if you send it in they are going to say no because water damage is your fault and not covered under warranty

yea the ones I've seen start white and get red when you're fucked...

yeah mine is still white
i just don't know if i can get turned down because of a few small drops in the screen that you can only see when you turn the phone on

i don't think soo haha when its good its white with red or blue X's on it or some design when it gets wet the design gets washed away so there may be a hint of color on it like may be really light pink but if its pure white its gotten wet i am almost positive

oh yeah i just looked it up too, your right woops. haha but my phone is the opposite. :/ its got red design and it gets washed off when wet and turns whitish

if you have loss or theft coverage you could use that. I'm sure you don't though because you probably would have thought of that.

i dont have any phone insurance, just the 1 year warranty on the phone through samsung

not sure if u can with the blackjack 2 but on some hones u can take the top screen off to clean it and stuff maybve u can get the screen off to dry it off...
