how do you guys do it? is i because you ski at like huge real mountains, and you know what al the pros look like, and they ski at your mountain also, so when you see them,you recognize the, and just go up to themand like ask them to jib with them?

pro, means professional, or profession this means that skiing is the way that the person makes a living, so if people claim to be pro and they arent being paid then they are lying.

many people are at the same level as pros, but are not being paid, this is becuase they havent learned to market themselves well enough to make money for companies.

being a pro skier takes much more than just skiing well. so when people bitch about not being pro they need to shut up and think about why that is.

then they shouldnt be considered professional.

people get trigger happy when calling themselves and others pros, its pretty damn stupid.

skiing must be your Profession to be considered pros.

i'm not saying that theres not alot of skiers at a pro level though. thats the difference though.

arguing is getting old, I don't really care who does or doesn't call themself a pro. if they are a good skier than they can call themselves whatever the fuck they want, wont change my life. or they can suck and call themself a penis I don't care.

Its pretty interesting to see these old threads pop up. Really makes you realize that the pros of today were just the regular NSers of yesterday.

Even if you don't ski with a pro, get on the lift with them. I met Mike Hornbeck while he was filming a mini series for Armada on a lift. He was more than happy to talk to me and was pretty stoked when I knew what the mini series was, since it had only been out for a week.

The world has now been graced with Facebook, Instagram, and other social media websites, where many pros post up to date photos of their location, and who they are with. This makes it much easier to "stalk" these pros, and calculate their next moves, putting you one step ahead of them at all times. Good luck, we believe you can do it.

How do you guys find these! epic bump.

I got to ride with a few pros. The problem is that I get star struck that I cant utter the words. Most of the time they are with their crew, but if I can get a lift with a pro, I can talk myself into a couple of laps with them.
They get me so pumped to watch them ride.
