I was digging around my basement today and I discovered that my dad has an old sigma 500mm lens that's just been sitting there for years. The current mount fits my older canon film cameras, however the mount is removable, and I would like to use it with my 40D. Does anyone know if/where I can score an EF mount for this lens, and if so, how will i know which mount is the correct one for this lens?
