^^ I dont think it is fair to compare Tanner or Pep to Hugo. Hugo is just stupid sick on the mountain, but I don't think that i have ever seen him killen the park. and yes seth does do tricks off of cliffs ect, but does he have ''style'' when he does these tricks. not really, but yea it is rad. And as for scetchy lines...did you see 1242. that line that pep skis is way tech. in the extras you can see he gets worked like 3 times. it is so steep I would say he can rip big mountain lines. And I know for a fact that Tanner has been skiing Alta lately...ie he is skiing a real mountain.
Lastly the crazy 70 mph hucks off of 50footers in AK that Hugo and Seth do. there is a reason that you see them doing that. that is cause that is what they do as pro skiers. You take a kid like pep who is being paid to be good in the newschool scene and put him in AK. ofcourse he isn't going to kill the 50footers while maching. he has a lot to loose.
And as for simmers...he knows who he is and so do I, but isn't it fun to call him other peoples names so all the little kiddies can keep guessing and so he doesn't get 10,000 messages a day??

Oh and one more thing. If pros wanted people to know who they are then they will make it obvious. But for me I say that the ones you do know respect them enough to not message them all the time if you don't actually know them. Post a topic on them saying they are the shit and how stoked you are to watch them in films.
I don't know if this is actually happening but just a thought.
If a pro uses his name on this site then everybody should be mature enough to allow them to say things in posts with their name. then others can be like.. well one guy thinks this and that pro thinks different, I wonder why, and then make your decision based on What you truley feel, then we are all taught a little something.

if anybody has seen sm1, which u all should have, then there is an example of some nuts (and sick) big mountain skiing. Seth, MkConkey, Mosely, they were all doing it, and it was all with some pretty amazing lines incorporated as well...

You just completely discredited your former statement. You said progression was about skiing fluid lines with sick drops and doing it until you get to the heli. With exception to PY, and Morrisson, the other athletes you named do not fit into that category. Treadway drops a lot of sick cliffs, but fluid lines with good landings waved bye, bye a while ago. And I haven't seen Kreitler's performance in this year's TGR film but it was weak in 'The Prophecy.' I didn't see anything in his segment that I haven't seen before. Hugo would have been a good addition to the group, because he skis fast and lands his shit. And Nobis? C'mon Bro. He had his day and no one is taking that away from him, but when you are a veteran who is on probation with your film company, its not progressive.
I get what you are saying, but it makes little sense to me. It's like trying to say that vert skating, isn't really skating, or that little wave riding, isn't really surfing. I am so sick of this argument. But respect for having your own opinion, man.

I think you misunderstood me...I never said these guys were doing the type of progression that is being debated here...I was using them as examples of riders that kill the big mountain- not that ski big mountain and throw sick tricks. Be it then or now, these guys ski sick lines. I wasn't trying to say that they're way ahead of Pep. I can see your point, though as well. Thanks for debating it in a non confrontational manner, though- kind of caught me off guard.
