Peak N Peak

im most likely going to penn state behrend in erie next year and i was just wondering how Peak N Peak is park wise

i heard its really close to the college so that will most likely be my new home mountain next year

main question here is - is Peak N Peak's park worth a season pass to lap through the park on my off days or what?

please need help here

Depends on what you're used to. It's not that big, but it's fun and since it's all that's really around here it's good for me.
The 180 (Beginner) Park:
-flat box
-rainbow rail
-hippo rail
-barrel jib
-pole jib
-dance floor box

The 360 Park:
-new flat down
-new era rail
-down rail
-tire jib
-rainbow rail
-c box
-school bus jib
-wallride
-cannon
-down flat box
-two nice mellow jumps
-along with barrel and pole jibs a plenty!!

The 540 Park:
-gap to flat box
-street style down rail
-down-flat-down rail
-c box
-jump line

not too bad....i always thought peak n peak was really haggard.  Do they actually have a real jump line? or a bunch of real shitty bumps?

It's always been pretty haggard in the past. This is by far the most legit set up they've had. They have 2 real jump line right now, but they're kind of shitty. I believe they're getting  completely rebuilt this week though.

Some of the stuff has changed in the park too.

They've also got a big battleship rail in the works.

yo man the peak has almost no vertical but they wet up some really legit parks!! the 360 and 540 are ill!!  i was just up there last week when they got 18 inches in one day.....im headin up later this week prolly cause my friend told me they just put up a 50 and 65 foot booter!!!!

my source was on the park team last year! so he has usually told me the right stuff (but i can double check)....the jumps arent upkept very well but they get the job done due to lack of park skiers being there....also if your going to behrend also check out holiday valley!! its not much farther than the peak and ive heard some decent things bout their parks...i go to thiel college

Pretty sure it is legit. I know for a fact that they just rebuilt their jump line.

The one you can probably go 75ft and live, but that's clearing all but probably 10 ft of the landing.

I honestly don't think the extra drive would be worth it. Maybe on weekends, but you're only 15 mins from the Peak if you're at Behrend.

 They have a really good deal a few of my buddies who go to Behrend do. It's a Tue, Wed, Thurs season pass for like $150. A great deal. New crowded those days and it's not a big deal to go 10 or 15 mins on a weekday. That would allow you to go to HV too.

Sorry. I made that confusing. That pass is just for PK n PK. What I meant when I said it would allow you to go to HV is that you could go there on weekends or something.

I go to Behrend and am taking a ski class at PknPk (sorta lame we have to take a lesson even though none of the hills are steep enough to learn anything on really).

I'm just getting into park skiing and the peak is pretty good for me. If your more advanced, then you might get bored, but Holiday Valley is pushing two hours to get to, while the peak is 20 mins.

Also, Behrend has some decent hills on campus if you don't mind hiking, I've got a 15-20 foot step down built pretty close to my dorm. Its great to hit when i've got a few free hours between classes.

There are also some pretty nice rails on campus to hit, and some otheres pretty near by.
