Probably a noob question but....

I got this jacket today and I was lookin at it and I was just wondering what this thing is. It hasa clip on the end of it and a retractible cord. Me and my uncle couldn't figure it out so i figure i'll post it on NS. I took a pic but i doubt it wll work because I am not very good with computers. Here is the pic:

But, I am guessing it is a pass clip.

Yeah its a pass clip. Just watch out with orage clips because they don't clip to the jacket, just have non locking hook thing (hard to explain) and comes off when you eat it. Already had to replace a pass.

dude the orage pass clips suck. i tried to open mine to put my pass on it and it broke. so cheap.

i work at a ski shop and some jackets have that clip at the end of the jacket's sleeve, they told us it was for your gloves so you dont lose them when you take them off at the lodge.
