lean on front foot, look towards end of rail

i learned by running full speed and jumping on a skateboard its a similar feeling

anyway, as for rails....lean forward, commit, and stay confident
and make sure you get on well, really centered. the start of a slide makes or breaks the whole jib

try to find a really short rail at first. something that wont hurt like crazy when you fall. also get a lot of speed. if you are going fast across the rail its easier to maintain balance while sliding it and you wont tip so much.

jump on and lean way back. it also helps to not turn at all and do the biggest spread that you can

you dont have to be at 90 to slide a rail, the only thing that needs to be very close to 90 is your lower body, your upper body can be anyway you want as long as you can keep your balace
