Yeah, look into the HVD30. Its a Panacannon, SHD (Slightly High Def).
Okay, just kidding. The HV30 is Canon, and it puts out really good quality video. It lacks a little on the manual features but for most that isn't a big issue.

The DVC30 is Panasonic. They don't make them anymore, so you'll have to either find a new one somewhere or buy a used one. Jack Borland and the ski-block crew filmed Kooter Brown and Completely Serious with this and it put out quality footage. He was trying to sell it a while back, so maybs message him and see if he still has it? He'll hook you up.
If you're going to buy online, make sure you use http://www.resellerratings.com/ or personally contact people who have bought from the site. There are tons of scams out there and only a few that will be fully legit with you. B&H is one of the good ones; I have nothing but good things to say about their store.
To buy used, just be careful. You can never be too cautious, especially when you're spending a lot of money...
