shops charge more b/c they need to make housing and inventory costs...stocking an assload of boxes in a warehouse is far cheaper than having a store where you have to clean up the blood on the floor when someone gets in a knife fight b/c you were looking at their woman funny. if you buy stereo stuff, buy from crutchfield...its the only place i trust anymore for anything.

You can get stereo shit for almost half price, basically a little more than cost, off the net. I used to work at best buy and I learned how much car audio stuff is jacked up. I bought a system with my discount (cost plus %5), he liked it a lot so he got the same shit off the net, brand new, identical boxes and everything, and he paid just a little more.
