frontpage on xp

I have office xp and i was looking for frontpage to publish a webpage and all i found was the empty frontpage folder, then i installed the internet information services component to see if that installed it but all it did was add a few files to the frontpage folder but not frontpage itself. I think that office xp would come with windows xp so do i need to reinstal windows, or how can i get it, or does it just not come with frontpage. Thanks

the easiest way to solve your problem:
www.mandrake.com
burn the cd, reformat your hard drive, and type emacs on the command line...you'll be in heaven and never have a problem publishing a web site ever again.
The only real drug problem is scoring real good drugs.

i enjoy a good linux distro as much as the next guy, but it's deffinitly not the solution to this guys problems.

I believe, although i am not toally sure, that ou may have installed a version of office xp that did not come with frontpage. If you can't find the executable that may be what happened.

try to find a copy with frontpage on it.

I'm pretty sure that FrontPage is not included with Office. So just buy it. But do you just want to use it to upload stuff or to acctually make content?

i want to mainly upload stuff i know i can just get an ftp but i thought if frontpage came onm my computer i might aswell use it , i might be able to get it from my dads office though

it all depends on what version of office xp you got, there is like the home edition, the professional version etc.
